Job Summary

ERIKS is seeking a talented Senior Sales Support Executive to join our dynamic sales team based in the Tuas West Region. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in supporting our sales professionals and fostering strong relationships with our valued clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies for the products
  • Lead supplier identification/selection/segmentation process
  • Build and maintain a strong working knowledge of industry practices/capabilities and market intelligence that capture expertise / best practices and leverage the expertise to deliver incremental cost reduction and drive significant client business value
  • Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement, analyze market drivers, and cost structures, and support supplier initiatives including annual cost reductions
  • Deliver cost reduction goals and provide strong support to the stakeholders
  • Develop Category management strategies
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with ERIKS H&S Responsibilities

Pre-requisites:

  • Proven experience in sourcing and/or procurement roles, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP B1 (added advantage)
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve targets
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
